By downloading, installing, or using Emotion Wallet ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Emotion Wallet is a personal wellness tool designed to help users practice mindful spending habits. The App monitors heart rate data (with your permission) to detect potential emotional spending impulses and provides AI-powered coaching to encourage reflection before purchases.
Emotion Wallet is a wellness and mindfulness tool only. It does not provide financial advice, medical advice, or diagnosis. The App does not have access to your financial accounts, transaction history, or banking information. Heart rate monitoring is used as a general emotional awareness indicator and should not be relied upon for medical purposes. Always consult qualified professionals for financial or medical decisions.
The App requests read-only access to heart rate data through Apple HealthKit. This data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to external servers. You may revoke HealthKit access at any time through your device settings.
The AI coaching feature uses the Claude API to provide conversational guidance. Only generic contextual prompts are sent to the API — no personal health data, financial information, or identifying details are transmitted. AI responses are for informational and motivational purposes only and should not be considered professional advice.
Emotion Wallet offers a free tier and an optional Pro subscription at $4.99/month. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and managed via the App Store. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policies.
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of personal mindful spending practice. You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, or use the App for any unlawful purpose.
All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Emotion Wallet and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that heart rate detection will be accurate in all circumstances.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emotion Wallet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to financial decisions made while using the App.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
